Drawdown
Today
- Status: Analysing market… → Scanning for entry → Trade Active → Trade Finished / Finished for Today. “Finishing trade (no license)” / “Stopped (no license)” appear if the license is inactive.
- Trades today: Raptor takes one trade a day at most. Its stop-loss and take-profit are set the moment it enters.
- Closed the same day: Everything Raptor opened is closed before the trading day ends. It never holds trades overnight.
- Risk setting: Each trade risks this % of balance. No martingale or recovery.
How your license works
Built so a website problem never stops your trading, and a trade or recovery is never abandoned.
- Your license is checked when the EA starts and every 4 hours after that.
- If our server is down, the EA keeps trading and retries after 1, 5 and 15 minutes, then hourly — no popups.
- After a restart it can start without the server for up to 3 days after your license was last confirmed.
- If your license ends (or the server is down for 24 hours), the EA never abandons an open trade or recovery — it finishes it first, then stops.
- Backtesting in the MT5 Strategy Tester is disabled.
- If your license ends, Raptor opens no new trades, keeps managing an open trade until it closes, then stops, and resumes by itself when the license is active again.
Troubleshooting
Find what you're seeing, then follow the fix.
“Please allow WebRequest” / error 4060 or 4014
Why: MT5 is not allowed to contact the license server.
- Tools → Options → Expert Advisors.
- Tick “Allow WebRequest for listed URL” and add https://www.bcbelevatetrading.com exactly.
- Click OK, then remove and re-attach the EA.
“License check failed” / “License inactive” on startup
Why: The MT5 account or server on the chart doesn't match your registration, the plan isn't confirmed yet, or the license has ended.
- Check File → Login to Trade Account: account ID and server must match what you registered.
- Open My products to see your plan status.
- If everything matches, send us a screenshot of the Experts tab.
Sad face / greyed hat in the chart corner
Why: Algo trading is switched off.
- Click the Algo Trading button in the toolbar so it turns green.
- Right-click the chart → Expert list → Properties → Common → tick “Allow Algo Trading”.
“License server unreachable” in the Experts tab
Why: Our website or your internet was briefly unavailable.
- Nothing to do — the EA keeps trading and retries automatically.
- If it lasts more than a day, check your VPS internet connection and contact us.
No trade today
Why: Raptor only trades when its daily setup appears, so some days have no trade. It also skips a day if margin is too low or MT5 was not running.
- Keep MT5 running on a VPS 24/5.
- Check the dashboard Status for the reason.
- If it says “no license”, check My products.
A trade closed before its take-profit
Why: The stop-loss was hit, or the trade was still open near the end of the trading day and was closed automatically.
- This is by design: Raptor never holds trades overnight.
- Check the dashboard and the MT5 History tab.
Questions
Which chart should Raptor run on?
XAUUSD (gold), on a USD or cent account. Any chart timeframe works; Raptor reads the data it needs by itself.
Does Raptor use martingale?
No. Each trade risks a fixed % of your balance with its own stop-loss and take-profit (1:2).
Why are trades closed the same day?
Raptor is an intraday system; it never holds trades overnight or over the weekend.
Can I backtest it?
No. Backtesting is disabled; use the free demo plan.
