What is Smart Trader Plus?

Smart Trader Plus is a free expert advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 5 that trades gold (XAUUSD) automatically. It opens up to 15 short trades a day, stops for the day at a profit lock you set, and recalculates lot size from your live balance before every entry, so gains compound on their own.

It is built for traders who want a hands-off XAUUSD trading robot on a small account. You attach it to one gold chart on a VPS and it handles entries, exits, recovery and the daily stop. Because it uses a recovery system after losses, it is a high-risk EA: it can grow a small account quickly, and it can also lose it.

How the gold scalping EA trades

Every trade goes through the same four steps, without you touching the chart.

  1. Read the market

    A composite multi-timeframe ADX filter (cADX) checks H4, H1 and M15 together. It only allows trading when all three agree gold is ranging, and skips choppy or dead sessions.

  2. Take small, frequent entries

    Instead of one big bet, the EA builds the daily target from up to 15 short scalps on XAUUSD, so each position spends less time exposed to the market.

  3. Size every lot from your balance

    Before each entry the lot size is recalculated from your live balance. As the account grows the lots grow with it, and the risk percentage stays the same.

  4. Recover, then lock the day

    After a loss, the next trade is sized to win back the loss plus the original target. Once the daily profit target is reached, every position closes and trading stops until the next session.

Know the risk before you go live

After a loss, the recovery trade is sized to win back everything lost plus the original target. One win anywhere in the run resets the cycle, but each extra loss roughly doubles the next position.

On a $1,000 account the EA survives six losses in a row, by which point $714.10 is gone. A seventh consecutive loss triggers a margin call.

  • Test on a demo account first and watch a full recovery cycle.
  • Withdraw profits regularly so less money is exposed.
  • Only deposit what you can afford to lose entirely.

Is Smart Trader Plus really free?

Yes. Smart Trader Plus is normally a $49 one-time fee and is currently free to access. You can run it on a demo account with no time limit. Can I download this MT5 EA for free?

After you claim free access you get the Smart Trader Plus EA file for MetaTrader 5 and a setup guide. It installs like any other expert advisor: copy it to the MQL5/Experts folder, attach it to an XAUUSD chart and allow algo trading.

What is the minimum deposit?

You can start from $10 on a cent account, where $10 shows as 1,000 cents so the EA can size lots correctly. Below $1,000, use a cent account.

Is Smart Trader Plus a martingale EA?

It uses a recovery system: after a losing trade, the next trade is larger so that one win covers the loss plus the original target. That is similar to martingale, and it is why a run of consecutive losses can wipe out the account. On a $1,000 account, seven losses in a row lead to a margin call.

Is it a gold scalping EA?

Yes. It takes up to 15 short trades a day on XAUUSD and takes small moves, then stops trading for the day once your daily profit lock is reached.
