Your license

Before you start

    Prepare your MT5 account

    Your license is linked to one MT5 account. Note these two details — you need them at checkout.

    1. Open MT5 and click File → Login to Trade Account.
    2. Write down your MT5 account ID (the Login number, e.g. 10001234).
    3. Write down the exact Server name (e.g. Exness-MT5Trial8). Copy it letter for letter.
    Cent account only (USC)Aegis XAUUSD Pro runs on a Cent account. Minimum deposit: $1,000 (shows as 100,000 USC in MT5).
    Partner link requiredOpen the cent account under our official IB (partner) link.
    You'll know it worked when…You have your account ID and exact server name written down.
    Common mistakeTypos in the server name. If the server you register differs from your MT5 server, the license check fails.

    Register your license at checkout

    On the pricing page, pick your plan and enter the MT5 details from the previous step.

    1. Open the pricing page and choose your plan.
    2. Enter your MT5 account ID and the exact server name.
    3. Submit the form. Paid plans are activated once your payment is confirmed.
    You'll know it worked when…You see “Registration Complete”, and the license card at the top of this page shows your plan after you sign in.
    Common mistakeRegistering a demo account on a live plan (or the other way round) — the server will refuse it.

    Download and install the EA file

    ~3 min

    Download the EA from your license card, then put it in MT5's Experts folder.

    1. Download Aegis Grid Algo XAUUSD Pro Mode.ex5 using the button in “Your license”.
    2. In MT5 click File → Open Data Folder.
    3. Open MQL5, then Experts.
    4. Paste Aegis Grid Algo XAUUSD Pro Mode.ex5 into the Experts folder.
    5. Back in MT5, right-click Expert Advisors in the Navigator and click Refresh.

    Your license

    You'll know it worked when…The EA appears under Expert Advisors in the Navigator (press Ctrl+N if the Navigator is hidden).
    Common mistakePasting the file into MQL5 instead of MQL5 → Experts, or forgetting to Refresh.

    Allow the license connection (WebRequest)

    Aegis Grid Algo checks your license over the internet, so MT5 must be allowed to talk to our website.

    1. In MT5 click Tools → Options (or press Ctrl+O).
    2. Open the Expert Advisors tab.
    3. Tick “Allow WebRequest for listed URL”.
    4. Double-click the green + and add this exact address:
    5. Click OK.
    You'll know it worked when…The address is in the list with the box ticked.
    Common mistakeA typo in the address or a missing https:// — the EA then shows “Please allow WebRequest” and won't start.

    Attach the EA to your chart

    ~2 min

    Load the EA onto the chart you want it to trade.

    1. Open an XAUUSD (gold) chart — on a cent account the symbol may be XAUUSDc.
    2. Open the chart you want to trade.
    3. In the Navigator, open Expert Advisors and drag Aegis Grid Algo XAUUSD Pro Mode onto the chart.
    4. In the window that opens, go to the Common tab and tick “Allow Algo Trading”. Click OK.
    5. Make sure the Algo Trading button in the toolbar is green.
    You'll know it worked when…The dashboard appears and the top-right corner of the chart shows the EA name with a smiley face.
    Common mistakeAlgo Trading switched off in the toolbar — the corner shows a sad face and nothing trades.

Global Status🟢 ACTIVE = trading normally. 🟠 FINISHING GRID = license inactive: it manages the open grid until the basket closes and opens no new grid. ⛔ LICENSE STOPPED = grid closed; it resumes by itself when the license is active again.

  • Floating P/L: Profit or loss of the open grid right now. Negative while the grid is recovering is normal.
  • Daily closed P/L: Profit already booked today from closed baskets.
  • Open trades: How many positions the current grid holds.
  • Recovery engine: Shows which recovery stage the grid is in. Higher stages add positions to bring the basket back to target.
  • TP price: The price at which the whole basket closes in profit.
  • StopOut: Approximate price where your broker would stop out the account. Keep it far away by using the recommended balance.
  • Safe Exit: Stops opening NEW grids but keeps managing the open one until it closes. The safe way to stop.
  • Stop trading: Blocks new grids and recovery adds. With a grid open you'll get a warning — the grid may not recover.
  • SOS Exit: Closes everything immediately, even at a loss. Emergencies only.

How your license works

Built so a website problem never stops your trading, and a trade or recovery is never abandoned.

  • Your license is checked when the EA starts and every 4 hours after that.
  • If our server is down, the EA keeps trading and retries after 1, 5 and 15 minutes, then hourly — no popups.
  • After a restart it can start without the server for up to 3 days after your license was last confirmed.
  • If your license ends (or the server is down for 24 hours), the EA never abandons an open trade or recovery — it finishes it first, then stops.
  • Backtesting in the MT5 Strategy Tester is disabled.
  • Aegis finishes the open grid when the license ends, then stops and resumes by itself when the license is active again.

Troubleshooting

Find what you're seeing, then follow the fix.

“Please allow WebRequest” / error 4060 or 4014

Why: MT5 is not allowed to contact the license server.

  1. Tools → Options → Expert Advisors.
  2. Tick “Allow WebRequest for listed URL” and add https://www.bcbelevatetrading.com exactly.
  3. Click OK, then remove and re-attach the EA.

“License check failed” / “License inactive” on startup

Why: The MT5 account or server on the chart doesn't match your registration, the plan isn't confirmed yet, or the license has ended.

  1. Check File → Login to Trade Account: account ID and server must match what you registered.
  2. Open My products to see your plan status.
  3. If everything matches, send us a screenshot of the Experts tab.

Sad face / greyed hat in the chart corner

Why: Algo trading is switched off.

  1. Click the Algo Trading button in the toolbar so it turns green.
  2. Right-click the chart → Expert list → Properties → Common → tick “Allow Algo Trading”.

The EA is not in the Navigator

Why: The file is in the wrong folder or the list wasn't refreshed.

  1. File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts: the .ex5 file must be here.
  2. Right-click Expert Advisors in the Navigator → Refresh.

“License server unreachable” in the Experts tab

Why: Our website or your internet was briefly unavailable.

  1. Nothing to do — the EA keeps trading and retries automatically.
  2. If it lasts more than a day, check your VPS internet connection and contact us.
Lot sizes look 100× too big or too small

Why: Aegis XAUUSD Pro expects a cent (USC) account on live plans.

  1. Check the account currency in MT5 (Toolbox → Trade).
  2. Use a cent account as described in step 1.
No new grid opens

Why: Safe Exit is on, the trading-time filter is active, or the spread is too high.

  1. If the button shows 🚪 SAFE START, click it to resume new grids.
  2. Wait for the trading window; check Global Status.
Status shows 🟠 FINISHING GRID or ⛔ LICENSE STOPPED

Why: Your license is inactive (or our server was unreachable for 24 hours).

  1. The open grid is managed until the basket closes.
  2. Renew or check your plan in My products; Aegis resumes by itself within about an hour.

Questions

What is the minimum balance?

$1,000 on a Cent account (shows as 100,000 USC in MT5).

Why a cent account?

Grid trading needs many small positions; cent accounts let Aegis size them safely.

Can I run Aegis and SnowBall together?

Yes on different symbols or accounts. On the same symbol, avoid manual trades — both EAs manage manual trades.

Can I backtest it?

No. Backtesting is disabled; use the free demo plan.
